Your Stories: Saint Francis Celebrates Emergency Nurses Week

Saint Francis Hospital’s Emergency Department recognized Emergency Nurses Week earlier this month. From October 5-11, the celebration acknowledges the incredible dedication, skill, and compassion of emergency nurses.
Shannon Meechan, RN, and Kirsten Littell, RN, were chosen in the gift basket drawing.
Throughout the week, colleagues in the Saint Francis ED participated in a variety of activities. There were Spirit Days, including Around the World Day, Sports Fan Day, and School Pride Day; “Golden Urinal” Superlatives; treats, including Pancake Breakfast Day; and more.
