Your Stories: Saint Francis Inpatient Phlebotomy Welcomes TogetherCare Changes
November 4, 2024Categories: Organizational Updates
The Saint Francis Hospital Inpatient Phlebotomy team is thrilled with the new Specimen Collection device that has been implemented with the go-live of TogetherCare.
The Saint Francis Inpatient Phlebotomy team has welcomed TogetherCare and the new efficiencies it has introduced.
“We have come a long way from doing the work manually for the past few decades to now doing it electronically,” said Nirav Rajpura, Supervisor, Clinical Services. “The handheld devices not only increase our efficiency, but also help in achieving a positive patient identification, preventing mislabels.”
Nirav and the team thanked all the TogetherCare Super Users who have been on site supporting the go-live, showing the team the ropes, and making them confident adopters of the new system.
“The team was nervous at the beginning of this change,” added Nirav. “However, they welcomed it with open arms and are on their way to being fully self-sufficient. With the right attitude, anything is possible!”
