The Waverly Portland Senior Center recently made a heartwarming delivery of dozens of handmade teddy bears to the Saint Francis Hospital Cancer Center.
The Saint Francis Cancer Center received handmade teddy bears from the Waverly Senior Center in Portland.
Each bear is lovingly crafted, uniquely designed and even given its own special name, making them all truly one of a kind. These bears will bring comfort, joy and smiles to patients at the Cancer Center.
The Waverly Senior Center helps adults 55+ in Portland stay active, engaged and empowered through programs that promote healthy aging, social connection, lifelong learning and joyful living.
