June 4, 2025Categories: Colleague Corner
A heartfelt thank you to Joshua Jaggon, RN, who serves on Saint Francis Hospital’s inpatient oncology unit. Joshua went above and beyond recently, creating a “Heartbeat in a Bottle” for the family of a patient nearing end of life.
Using a patient's EKG reading, Joshua created a meaningful keepsake for their family.
Using printouts of the patient’s own EKG reading, Joshua created a meaningful keepsake for the family. His compassion, creativity, and dedication to honoring the patient’s journey provided a lasting and deeply meaningful gift for their loved ones.
“In moments like these, your care reminds us all why we chose this profession,” said Kaitlyn Savicki, MSN, RN, Nursing Professional Development Specialist at Saint Francis, who submitted the story to recognize Joshua. “You are truly making a difference.”
