Saint Francis Hospital recently hosted the 62nd Annual Jeresaty Cardiovascular Symposium, the oldest cardiovascular symposium in the United States. Led by Tarek Helmy, MD, FACC, MSCAI, Regional Chair of Cardiology; Richard Soucier, MD, Medical Director, Heart Failure; and Pam Delfino, MSN, RN, NE-BC, Director, Cardiovascular Services Line, the symposium covers the newest updates in cardiovascular care. 

The oldest cardiovascular symposium in the United States, the gathering focuses on the newest updates in cardiovascular care. 

Robert Jeresaty, MD, was the first Chief of Cardiology at Saint Francis and held the position for 35 years. In 1965, he established a cardiology symposium, which was named in his honor in 1995.

Sessions were moderated by Dr. Helmy, Dr. Soucier and Neal Lippman, MD, Chief of Arrythmia Services. Leaders in cardiovascular medicine from around the country offered their expertise on a number of topics. Speakers included:
