The Saint Francis Hospital Emergency Department recently presented the Emergency Department Outstanding Colleague (EDOC) Award to Mikayla Murphy, RN. The initiative recognizes team members who consistently go above and beyond in supporting patients, colleagues, and the community. This peer-driven recognition is an important reminder of the extraordinary dedication and compassion demonstrated throughout the department.
Jennifer Martin, MD, Medical Director, Emergency Medicine, recently presented Mikayla Murphy, RN, with the Emergency Department Outstanding Colleague Award.
Mikayla was chosen for the most recent EDOC Award for her exceptional teamwork, reliability, and unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. Colleagues describe Mikayla as someone who steps in without hesitation, maintains a positive presence even on the busiest shifts, and consistently upholds the highest standards of professionalism. Her ability to support both patients and colleagues with empathy and grace truly embodies the spirit of the EDOC Award.
