Five nurses from the Saint Francis Hospital Endoscopy Department have been elected to leadership roles for the Connecticut Society for Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (CTSGNA) for 2025. Saint Francis has over 25 active members in the CTSGNA, including CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and MDs, and they focus on education and engagement as keys to success.

The CTSGNA works closely with the national Society for Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) governing body to bring Connecticut members multiple benefits, including professional networking, educational opportunities, updates on technology advances for the GI field, and professional guidance for providing high quality care to individuals with digestive health issues.
