Catholic Clergy Members from Across Connecticut Visit Saint Francis

The Mission team from Saint Francis Hospital was pleased to welcome Catholic clergy members from across the region on Monday, March 3.
Catholic clergy members from around the state gathered at Saint Francis for a special prayer and lunch.
The group prayed the mid-day prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours in the the Saint Francis Chapel and had a lunch meeting in CIPCI. Clergy members were welcomed by Valerie Powell-Stafford, President of Saint Francis and Mount Sinai and met with the Mission team to discuss the hospital’s commitment to serving as a compassionate and transforming healing presence in the community.
“We were excited to welcome our esteemed clergy to Saint Francis,” said Michael Rogers, Ph.D., MA, STL, Mission Leader for the Hartford and Springfield Markets. “As a Catholic, mission-based institution, we were blessed to host this group, and are grateful for their prayers, guidance, and shared commitment to compassionate healing.”
