In partnership with Wilson-Gray YMCA and the Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives, Trinity Health Of New England is honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a Day of Service Event on Monday, January 20.

Colleagues are encouraged to volunteer to serve the community on Monday, January 20 as part of a Day of Service event honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Colleagues have a chance to volunteer for three service opportunities on that day. Beginning at 8:30 a.m., volunteers can help distribute food to families in need in the community at the Joan C. Dauber Food Pantry, located on the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital campus. From 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., the Wilson-Gray YMCA is hosting an “I Have a Dream” vision board creation event, where teens ages 13-18 will also have the opportunity to meet with and receive advice and encouragement from mentors. Finally, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Community Health and Well Being will host a “Mind, Body, and Soul” Community Conversation at the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity (659 Tower Ave., 1st Floor, Hartford), open to all members of the community, where attendees can discuss how to be the best you in 2025.

Volunteers are needed for all three opportunities. Colleagues and their families are encouraged to sign up by filling out THIS FORM
