December 1, 2025Categories: Colleague Corner
Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital recently held the second annual Battle of the Disciplines, with Team Nursing and Team Therapy going head-to-head to see who could collect the most items in support of the Joan C. Dauber Food Pantry.
Team Therapy took home the trophy in the second annual Battle of the Disciplines at Mount Sinai.
Both teams spent November collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Pantry in support of the local community. While Team Therapy took the trophy away from Team Nursing this year, the friendly competition was a win for all, with 185 total items collected for donation, exemplifying living our Mission.
“This friendly rivalry proves that when we compete with heart, we win as a community,” said Liliani Rosa-Marasiotis, RN, Nursing Professional Development Specialist. “Big thanks to everyone who contributed – you’ve shown that teamwork extends beyond patient care and into making a real difference!”
