Making Miracles Happen Regional Gala Draws 700 Attendees
Laura Hutchinson and Keith Kountz, co-anchors of WTNH News 8’s “Good Morning Connecticut,” serve as emcees for the 2023 Trinity Health Of New England Making Miracles Happen Gala.

Trinity Health Of New England held its second annual Making Miracles Happen gala at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. All proceeds benefit the health care organization’s Emergency Services and Mobile Healthcare, including their four Emergency Departments located at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford, and Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal attended to present the beneficiaries with a congratulatory citation in honor of their service to their local communities. Keith Kountz and Laura Hutchinson, anchors of WTNH News 8’s “Good Morning Connecticut,” served as the gala emcees for the evening. Music and entertainment for the event was provided by New Your Edge and guests received a keepsake photo from TapSnap.

“We are truly blessed that we are able to gather with so many friends who love our hospitals and the compassionate care they receive at them. Hosting an event like this takes a village of sponsors, volunteers, colleagues and philanthropy team members and knowing our efforts will help transform the lives of our patients is beyond gratifying,” said Timothy R. Stanton, Regional Vice President of Philanthropy, Trinity Health Of New England Foundation.

Each Emergency Department, staffed by board-certified physicians, high-acuity nurses, on-call specialists, and expert technicians, is committed to providing safe, high-quality, and efficient care to their respective surrounding communities. Trinity Health Of New England Mobile Healthcare extends that care outside the hospital walls with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and their newly expanded non-emergency care services. Trinity Health Of New England Mobile Healthcare’s expanded services focus on patient education, consultation, and navigation in the areas of preventative care, chronic disease management, and post-acute follow-up care.
