Once again, colleagues at Johnson Memorial Hospital are answering the call to assist the local community. In a manner similar to the earlier toy collection during the holiday season, colleagues are donating diapers and wipes to the Stafford Family Resource Center and Stafford Social Services. Donations of diapers and wipes are met with great appreciation because they are not covered by any social service benefits.
“After the success of our holiday toy drive, I spoke with the coordinator of the Stafford Family Resource Center to see if Johnson could provide any additional help and learned about the diaper drive,” said organizer Sue Downs, Engineering Coordinator, Facilities and Engineering. “The diaper drive was a huge success at Johnson last year and colleagues have been very generous again this year.”
A donation box for diapers and wipes is set up in the main lobby at Johnson. Downs empties it weekly and brings the donations to the Stafford Family Resource Center, where staff members have voiced their gratitude. The donation box will remain in place until the end of March.
