Women’s Empowerment Pop-Up event at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
March is designated as Women’s History Month, a month set aside to honor women’s contributions in American history. To mark the occasion, the Springfield Market’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee hosted a Women’s Empowerment Pop-Up event at Johnson Memorial Hospital. The event, held on March 28, spotlighted seven local women-owned businesses to celebrate Women's History Month.
“This Pop-Up event provided an opportunity to highlight businesses owned and operated by local women, and at the same time, give them a chance to offer their products to a wider audience at the hospital,” said Ryan Zick, Clinician/Group Facilitator, Johnson Memorial Hospital.
