August 25, 2026Categories: Events
On August 15, members of Trinity Health Of New England’s Stroke and Rehabilitation Programs partnered with Hartford Athletic to host the sixth annual "Team Up Against Stroke Night"
Trinity Health Of New England Stroke and Rehabilitation Colleagues promote stroke awareness at a Hartford Athletic game.
During the event, colleagues provided community members with valuable information about stroke prevention, stroke warning signs, the importance of the BE FAST stroke recognition acronym and the critical need to call 911 immediately at the first signs of stroke. More than 220 stroke awareness bags containing educational material were distributed to attendees.
The evening also recognized and celebrated stroke survivors, who were honored on the field before the match. Several survivors participated in the Ball Walk Out Ceremony to help kick off the game. Attendees had the opportunity to test their stroke awareness knowledge and enter a raffle.
Trinity Health Of New England is grateful for its continued collaboration with Hartford Athletic in helping raise awareness about stroke prevention, recognition and the importance of acting BE FAST when stroke symptoms occur.
