Trinity Health Of New England’s Marketing and Communications (MarComm) department earned seven awards at the recent 2025 New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) Lamplighter Awards Ceremony held in Springfield, Massachusetts. The annual Lamplighter Awards recognize the outstanding achievements and campaigns produced in health care communications across New England. With several major awards and hundreds of entries each year, the Lamplighters honor the finest work produced across all six states.

The team, led by Julie Williams, Regional Marketing and Communications Director, was recognized at the event with six Gold Awards and one Award of Excellence.

The Future Healers: The Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit in Community Relations Event/Campaign submission was also included as a finalist in the “Best in New England Award” category which recognizes the outstanding achievement of a well-planned, exceptionally executed entry. The highest scoring GOLD category winners are entered into this elite group.

Additionally, The Owen J. McNamara Excellence in Writing Award is a “best-of-the-best” recognition for writing, with the recipient being selected from the winners of the NESHCo Lamplighter Awards writing competitions. A blog post, written by Mary Orr, Communications Specialist in the Springfield Market, was among the finalists in this category.

The competition is open to all public relations and marketing professionals employed by New England health care institutions, health plans and agencies.
