Hospital Week 2026 at Trinity Health Of New England was a celebration of gratitude, team spirit and the unwavering commitment of our colleagues. From May 10 - 16, each hospital came together to honor our health care heroes and join together as colleagues.
Trinity Health Of New England marks Hospital Week by celebrating the dedication of colleagues across the region.
At Johnson Memorial Hospital and Mercy Medical Center, the week began with a warm welcome, coffee and pastries to start the day, followed by a spirited “Spirit Day” and a visit from the Ben & Jerry’s truck. Colleagues proudly wore Trinity Health Of New England green and purple, gathered for a group photo that captured the energy and unity of the moment.
At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the festivities were both lively and delicious. Colleagues enjoyed fresh wood-fired pizza, salad and gelato from the La Tavola Pizza Truck. Later in the week, coffee and pastries were served in the cafeteria and Friday’s Spirit Day brought colleagues together to showcase their Trinity Health Of New England gear and colors.
At Saint Francis Hospital and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the celebration took on a sporty twist. “Sports Days” encouraged colleagues to support their favorite teams, while cafeteria tailgates featured fan-favorite meals. Treats flowed throughout the week, including donuts, coffee and ice cream. The celebration concluded with Friday’s Spirit Day and the popular Cupcake Bakeoff, where Tracy from Saint Francis Dental Center took home the top prize.
This year’s Hospital Week theme, “Healing Happens Here,” established by the American Hospital Association, recognizes the compassion, collaboration and lifesaving work of clinical, operational and support staff across health systems.
Together, we celebrated more than a week, we celebrated the incredible people who make our Mission possible every day.
