Saint Mary’s Colleagues and Friends Break Bread for a Good Cause

More than 400 colleagues, family and friends gathered at La Bella Vista in Waterbury for a Ponte Club – Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation Fundraiser. The event, held on September 12, raised funds for the Colleague Crisis Fund which was established to assist colleagues who need aid when they experience a financial emergency.

The Pontelandolfo Community Club holds monthly dinners at La Bella Vista in support of a local charity. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the event are given to a chosen charity, in this case Saint Mary’s Foundation, while the club retains the other fifty percent. In addition to the four-course dinner service, the event includes a dozen or more raffle items as well as opportunities to network and socialize with friends, colleagues and community members.
