Johnson Colleagues Participate in Gift Assistance Program

Building blocks, dolls, arts and crafts, Lego sets, and “stuffies” are among the new unwrapped toys donated by Johnson Memorial Hospital colleagues to support the 2024 Stafford Holiday Gift Assistance Program. The toy collection was organized by Sue Downs, Engineering Coordinator, who provided a list of requested items for colleagues to pick from when making their donations.
Johnson’s Tony Armelin, Dr. Robert Roose, Lindsey Gamble, and Sue Downs with a portion of the toys that were collected for the program.
According to Sue, the toy collection netted four carloads of presents in what has become a much-anticipated annual holiday tradition. “Johnson colleagues look forward to this effort every year and their support and generosity is overwhelming,” she said.
The Stafford Holiday Gift Assistance Program is an annual initiative designed to support local families during the holiday season. The program ensures that all families, regardless of their financial situation, can experience the joy and warmth of the holidays. It provides holiday gifts and essential resources to alleviate the financial burden that often accompanies this time of year.
