In May, Johnson received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for the Spring 2025 review period. This, after also receiving an “A” from Leapfrog for Fall 2024.
An independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety, The Leapfrog Group assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.
“At every level, our team at Johnson is dedicated to patient safety. Two consecutive ‘A’ safety grades are not only evidence of the success of this commitment, but are also cause for celebration,” said Lindsey Gamble, MSN, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Operations/Chief Nursing Officer, Johnson Memorial Hospital.
