Diagnostic Imaging services are now open for business at the new S. Prestley and Helen Blake Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), a comprehensive "hub" for outpatient services on Johnson Memorial Hospital’s Enfield campus.

Mike Rogers, PhD, MA, STL, Mission Leader, blesses the diagnostic imaging space at the S. Prestley and Helen Blake Ambulatory Care Center as Johnson leaders and colleagues look on.

Robert Roose, M.D., MPH, President of Johnson and Mercy Medical Center; and Johnson’s Lindsey Gamble, MSN, RN, Executive Director of Patient Care Services and Operations, joined department colleagues for a blessing of the space before the first patients came in for testing.

“The opening of diagnostic imaging services is another step forward for this important expansion and renovation project,” said Dr. Roose. “Designed with our patients’ comfort in mind, these updated services and equipment, including a brand-new CT scanner, are now available in a fresh, welcoming space.”

The ACC also includes a new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) which is expected to open in the coming weeks, as soon as regulatory requirements are satisfied. The ASC features four state-of-the-art operating rooms and recovery areas on the upper level, and space for additional medical offices on the lower level.
