Dennis M. Rodin, MD, serves as Section Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Saint Mary’s Hospital. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and partner at Waterbury Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Rodin has extensive training in sports medicine and more than two decades of experience caring for patients in the Greater Waterbury community. His expertise encompasses fracture management, arthritis and soft tissue injuries, with a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries.

Dr. Rodin earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship at Nirschl Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic. 

Dr. Rodin is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and maintains subspecialty certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, offering patients advanced, evidence-based care.
