Welcome to Pioneer Valley Cardiology Associates
Pioneer Valley Cardiology Associates has served the Northeast since 1971 with world-class cardiology care. From a small, three person clinic to a growing and thriving private cardiology practice with over twenty providers, PVCA remains committed to providing each of our patients extraordinary care.
Our unique continuum of services gives us and our patients everything needed to diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular issues and conditions. We provide non-invasive, invasive and interventional cardiology services, as well as electrophysiology, stress testing, nuclear-medicine imaging, vascular services, echocardiography, heart monitoring and more.
We are excited to share news about our cardiology practice and team members. Effective November 1, 2026, Pioneer Valley Cardiology Associates will become “Baystate Pioneer Valley Cardiology,” as we join Baystate Health, a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system serving more than 800,000 people across western Massachusetts.
We understand that this news may may raise questions for you, and we want to reassure our patients that our commitment to providing exceptional cardiac care remains unchanged. Our mission continues to be delivering quality and compassionate cardiovascular care to the patients and communities we serve.
Continuity of Your Care. Most importantly, this transition will not change your medical care. You will continue to see the same providers you know and trust, and appointments will continue to be offered at the same locations.
Integrated, Seamless Patient Care. As part of this transition, on November 1, 2026, we will transition to Baystate Health's electronic health record (EHR) system. This conversion aligns our technology platforms and brings additional benefit to you. It will support an integrated, seamless care across the Baystate Health system. We appreciate your patience during our training and this transition process, as appointment schedules, and response time for prescription refills, referrals, or administrative requests may vary.
Your Rights Regarding Your Medical Records. Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Massachusetts law, you have certain rights regarding your protected health information and medical records. If you take no action, your medical records will remain with our practice, and you may continue to receive care at the practice under its new ownership. Your records will be maintained in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security standards and Massachusetts medical records retention requirements. If you prefer to transfer your care to a different healthcare provider, you have the right to request that your medical records be sent directly to the provider of your choice. To do so, you must complete and sign an Authorization for Release of Medical Records form.
